Full Warranty Statement

Mosico Cymbals are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers cracks, warping, and keyholing (enlargement of the mounting hole) that occur as a result of normal use. Mosico Cymbals reserves the right to determine whether a cymbal has been subjected to normal use and reserves the right to replace a defective product with a comparable model.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the cymbal. You must provide a copy of your original purchase receipt to be eligible for a warranty claim.

What is Not Covered:

  • Cracks resulting from improper playing technique, such as striking the cymbal’s edge with the tip of the stick.

  • Cracks resulting from damage due to dropping, misuse, abuse, or improper handling.

  • Cracks resulting from using a metal stick or other non-wood objects to play the cymbal.

  • Damage caused by over-tightening of wingnuts or using improper mounting hardware.

  • Damage to color coatings or finishes.

  • Cymbals that have been altered, drilled, or modified.

No Sales Receipt

A copy of your original purchase receipt is required for all warranty claims. Without a valid proof of purchase, we cannot verify the date of sale or that the product was purchased through an authorized Mosico dealer.

Our warranty is valid for a period of two years from the original date of purchase. We cannot accept claims for cymbals that are outside of this two-year period.

Damage such as dents, dings, or nicks are typically the result of impact from sticks, other cymbals, or hardware. This type of damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under our warranty.

Cracks or breaks in the bell area of a cymbal are usually caused by improper playing technique, such as hitting the bell with excessive force or at an incorrect angle. This is not a material defect and is not covered.

Dents on the bell surface are typically caused by dropping the cymbal or striking it with hardware. This is considered accidental damage and is not covered by the warranty.

Circular cuts or severe wear on the inside of the bell, often referred to as “keyholing,” are a result of improper mounting. This is caused by over-tightening the wingnut or not using proper cymbal felts and sleeves, which allows the cymbal to rub against the metal stand. This type of damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.

Any cymbals that have been drilled, cut, modified, or had pieces removed are not covered under our warranty. This also includes any damage caused by using non-wood drumsticks, as such modifications and materials compromise the integrity of the cymbal.
